She is a solicitor and teacher and was a senior lecturer at the College of Law, London. She is currently developing a number of feature films and is the founder of The Soldiers' Arts Academy CIC 

Dr Paula Holt

Dr Paula Holt

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dean of College of Health & Social Care

University of Derby.

She served as an Army officer for 8 years serving in SE England, Germany and Scotland heading up mental health services for Forces personnel and their families, and did operational tours of Bosnia in 1993/4 with the UN and 1997 with NATO. Whilst in the Army she completed an Open University degree in Psychology.

Shaun Johnson

Shaun Johnson is an actor and former British Soldier.  He left the military with an injury, found it difficult adjusting to civilian life and developed and struggled with mind-frag! (mental health problems). He spent four years with the support and training from RSC, and Shakespearean's Globe practitioners, performing Shakespeare productions. His recent credits include playing Hamlet at Shakespeare's Globe, Richard III at the RSC

Lt Col Stuart Hill

Stewart Hill served in the British Army for eighteen years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. On Fourth of July 2009, Stewart was leading 160 men in the largest ever ground battle with the the Taliban, in some of the fiercest. fighting seen by UK forces in Afghanistan. He led from the front and commanded great respect from his men.

Brig Fred Hargreaves OBE

A serving Army officer, Fred has been closely involved in many aspects of wounded, injured and sick (WIS) recovery and transition for the past ten years, including whilst working in the British Embassy in America where he rejuvenated a UK/US Taskforce for Service Personnel, Veterans and their Families, set up by the President and Prime Minister in 2011.

 

A passionate mountaineer, skier and ski instructor (alpine, adaptive and ski touring) he is founder of Battle Back, the UK MOD’s programme for aiding the recovery of WIS Service Personnel by getting them back into sport and enabling them to regain an active lifestyle. He is also the lead MOD partner and Deputy Head of Delegation for the UK Invictus Games team, and the Chairman of the Armed Forces ParaSnowsport Team (AFPST).

 

Fred has over 30 years’ experience of Coalition C4ISR and Cyber at the tactical, operational and strategic level, is a graduate of the Higher Command and Staff Course and the Royal College of Defence Studies in London. Formerly employed as the Chief Information Officer in the UK's Permanent Joint Headquarters, he now runs the design and acquisition of Defence’s New Style of IT (Deployed) programme in ISS Corsham.
